【摘要】:InthisTechnicalSpecification,thegravimetricmixturepreparationasgiveninISO6142isinvestigatedforinfluencesofaprioriexisting,aswellascorrelationsintroducedbydataprocessing.Allcalculationsrefertoanexamplewhichconsistsinthepreparationofasyntheticnaturalgasofatargetcompositionasfollows:1,4mol%N2,1,8mol%CO2,9,4mol%ethane,3,4mol%propane,1mol%nbutane,and83mol%methane.Allconsiderationsgivenforthisexampleconcerningmixturefeasibility,choiceofpreparationprocedure,andweighingstepsandsequencesarethesameasgiveninISO6142.Thisalsoappliestoallestimatesforbasicuncertaintysourcesandthepuritytablesofthegasesusedforpreparation.Allcalculationsfollowtheprinciples,andusethetoolsandalgorithmslaiddowninAnnexA.Forthesakeofsimplicity,proceduralstepssuchasmatrixtransformation,inversionormatrixcalculusarenotdetailedeachtimetheyareusedinthecalculations.

【摘要】:Thispracticedevelopstreatmentfactorsthatshallbeusedbyfireretardantchemicalmanufacturerstoadjustbendingstrengthdesignvaluesforuntreatedplywoodtoaccountforthefire-retardanttreatmenteffects.Thispracticeusesdatafromreferencethermal-loadcyclesdesignedtosimulatetemperaturesinslopedroofsofcommondesigntoevaluateproductsfor50iterations.Thispracticeappliestomaterialinstalledusingconstructionpracticesrecommendedbythefireretardantchemicalmanufacturersthatincludeavoidingexposuretoprecipitation,directwetting,orregularcondensation.Thispracticeisnotmeanttoapplytobuildingswithsignificantlydifferentdesignsthanthosedescribedin1.3.TestMethodD5516causedthermallyinducedstrengthlossesinlaboratorysimulationswithinareasonablyshortperiod.Theenvironmentalconditionsusedinthelaboratory-activatedchemicalreactionsthatareconsideredtobesimilartothoseoccurringinthefield.Thisassumptionisthefundamentalbasisofthispractice.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforcalculatingbendingstrengthdesignadjustmentfactorsforfire-retardant-treatedplywoodroofsheathing.Themethodsutilizetheresultsofstrengthtestingafterexposureatelevatedtemperaturesandcomputer-generatedthermalloadprofilesreflectiveofexposuresencounteredinnormalserviceconditionsinawidevarietyofclimates.1.2Necessarily,commonlaboratorypracticeswereusedtodevelopthemethodsherein.Itisassumedthattheprocedureswillbeusedforfire-retardant-treatedplywoodinstalledusingappropriateconstructionpracticesrecommendedbythefireretardantchemicalmanufacturers,whichincludeavoidingexposuretoprecipitation,directwetting,orregularcondensation.1.3Theheatgains,solarloads,roofslopes,ventilationrates,andotherparametersusedinthispracticewerechosentoreflectcommonslopedroofdesigns.Thispracticeisapplicabletoroofsof3in12orsteeperslopes,toroofsdesignedwithventareasandventlocationsconformingtonationalstandardsofpracticeandtodesignsinwhichthebottomsideofthesheathingisexposedtoventilationair.Theseconditionsmaynotapplytosignificantlydifferentdesignsandthereforethispracticemaynotapplytosuchdesigns.1.4InformationandabriefdiscussionsupportingtheprovisionsofthispracticeareintheCommentaryintheappendix.Alarge,moredetailed,separateCommentaryisalsoavailablefromASTM.1.5Themethodologyinthispracticeisnotmeanttoaccountforallreportedinstancesoffire-retardantplywoodundergoingprematureheatdegradation.1.6Thispracticeiswrittenininch-poundunitswithSIunitsprovidedinparenthesesforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
