【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9798specifiesentityauthentica-tionmechanismsusingdigitalsignaturesbasedonasym-metrictechniques.Twomechanismsareconcernedwiththeauthenticationofasingleentity(unilateralauthenti-cation),whiletheremainingaremechanismsformutualauthenticationoftwoentities.Adigitalsignatureisusedtoverifytheidentityofanentity.Atrustedthirdpartymaybeinvolved.ThemechanismsspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC9798usetimevariantparameterssuchastimestamps,se-quencenumbers,orrandomnumbers,topreventvalidauthenticationinformationfrombeingacceptedatalatertime.Ifatimestamporasequencenumberisused,onepassisneededforunilateralauthentication,whiletwopassesareneededtoachievemutualauthentication.Ifachal-lengeandresponsemethodemployingrandomnumbersisused,twopassesareneededforunilateralauthen-tication,whilethreeorfourpasses(dependingonthemechanismemployed)arerequiredtoachievemutualauthentication.
