适用范围
GB/T 2423的本部分规定了评定零部件、设备或其组成材料经受流体意外接触影响的试验方法。本部分所列流体代表了在使用过程中经常能遇到的流体。试验样品不必暴露在所列的所有或部分流体中，所列流体也不完全。试验所用流体若非本部分所所关规范应将其列出。附录A对试验流体、试验样品和严酷等级的选择提供了指导信息。本试验不适用于验证与流体持续接触的零部件或设备的工作适应性，例如浸渍的燃料泵，也不适用于验证耐电解腐蚀的能力。

【摘要】:Tensiontestsprovideinformationonthestrengthandductilityofmaterialsunderuniaxialtensilestresses.Thisinformationmaybeusefulincomparisonsofmaterials,alloydevelopment,qualitycontrol,anddesign.Theresultsoftensiontestsfromselectedportionsofapartormaterialmaynottotallyrepresentthestrengthandductilityoftheentireendproductofitsin-servicebehaviorindifferentenvironments.Thesetestmethodsareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentssincethemethodshavebeenusedextensivelyforthesepurposes.Tensiontestsprovideameanstodeterminetheductilityofmaterialsthroughthemeasurementeitherofelongationorreductionofarea.However,asspecimenthicknessisreduced,tensiontestsmaybecomelessusefulforthedeterminationofductility.ForthesepurposesTestMethodE796presentsanalternativeprocedureformeasuringductility.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetensiontestingofmetallicfoilatroomtemperatureinthicknesseslessthan0.006in.(0.150mm).Note18212;Exceptiontothesemethodsmaybenecessaryinindividualspecificationsortestmethodsforaparticularmaterial.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
