【摘要】:Uponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,fabricsintendedforthisenduseshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1ofthisperformancespecification.ItisrecognizedthatforpurposesoffashionoraestheticstheultimateconsumerofarticlesmadefromthesefabricsmayfindacceptablefabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Therefore,oneormoreoftherequirementslistedinTable1maybemodifieduponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Insuchcases,anyreferencestothespecificationshallspecifythat.x201C;ThisfabricmeetsASTMSpecificationD4115exceptforthefollowingcharacteristic(s).x201D;Wherenoprepurchaseagreementhasbeenreachedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,andincaseofcontroversy,therequirementslistedinTable1areintendedtobeusedasaguideonly.Asnotedin5.2,ultimateconsumerdemandsdictatevaryingperformanceparametersforanyparticularstyleoffabric.Thesignificanceanduseofparticularpropertiesandmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverswovenandknittedfabricscomprisedofanytextilefiberormixtureoffiberstobeusedinwomen''sandgirls''dressgloves.1.2Thisperformancespecificationisnotapplicabletofabricsusedforinterliningsandindustrial-protectiveclothing.1.3Theserequirementsapplytothelengthandwidthdirectionsforthosepropertieswhereeachfabricdirectionispertinent.1.4Thefollowingprecautinarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisperformancespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
