【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishesnationallyrecognizedperformancerequirementscommontobothkeroseneanddieselportablecontainersforreusebytheconsumer.Onlycolorandmarkingaredifferentiated.Thetestmediumspecifiedforchemicalresistanceiskeroseneduetothemoreaggressivenatureofkeroseneonelastomersandothermaterialsofconstruction.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotincludesingle-trippre-packagedcontainers.1.3Thisstandardisnotafireriskassessmentstandard,orafireteststandard,butaspecificationforportablekerosenecontainersforconsumeruse.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.AdditionalprecautionaryinformationisgiveninSection6.
